At Tuesday, July 19, the Polling Agent, Mr Eric Arthur Botwe, for the area told the media that as only 16 out of the 421 people on the record had verified their names.
He recognized the low manufacture to the low advertising of the exercise, adding that much alertness was not produced.
However, he showed hopefulness that more people would arrive to confirm their names.
He said so far the exercise has been passive with all running easily as intended with backups actions taken should any of the biometric machines becomes out of order.
Mr Botwe stated the EC has set September to allow people, who have changed their location to transmit their votes to allow them exercise their franchise.
A trader, Mrs Petra Addo, stated “So far the promotion made has been embattled towards the educated leaving out the uneducated.”
She recommended that information vans should change direction to advertise the exercise in the communities.
