Former 1st Lady and wife of ex-President Rawlings speaks that the military leader throughout his regime failed her sourcing monies from state funds to undertake progress for women through her 31st December women’s Movement.
Ex-President Rawlings is famous for his virtuous and principled values which have increased a great deal of admiration and respect from political sector across-board.
Hence, stating on his lifestyle, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, the wife of the ex-Ghanaian leader, told the media on Wednesday that she was shocked years back when J.J Rawlings stated NO to her while finding some funds from the Ministry of Finance to assume a bakery scheme for women.
She said J.J Rawlings never break rules and his principles to make her pleased as the wife.
Meanwhile, “At some topic in time I was even irritating to get him to help us because we wanted money to do definite things and she said Nana I’ve make out you are doing something with females, Yes, the country is going through complications and there is no way that I’ll give you any cash for that. And he said also if you’re actually worth your salt, go to the Bank. So from then on I alredy knew I could not go to him and required him some money for my project,” Nana Konadu said.
