Ghanaian dancehall queen, MzVee at the BET Awards 2016
The black diva of Ghana Vera-Hamenoo-Kpeda who is popularly known by her stage name Mzvee has claimed that her nomination in BET has opened many doors for her. The best female musician of Ghana was nominated in group of International Act for African catagory.
Although, award was won by Black Coffee who belongs to South Africa but he faced strong competition against Yemi Alade, Wizkid, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Diamond Platnumz, Serge Beynaud and MzVee.
MzVee expressed her feelings in her telephonic interview. She was asked by the question that “Is she going to entertain her fans with big international collaboration”. She replied that she would not disclose the secret but this year will prove big year for her and fans.
She said that:
“I don’t think I can speak on that now but my fans should expect something big from me this year. This year is going to be a good year for me and my fans”.
Further she added that she didn’t feel bad that she lost a competition which was quite amazing and she talked about her new hit song ‘hold me now’. She said she excited about her next nomination and representation for her hit number.
“I am excited about my nomination and I went out there to connect and also have fun and I achieved that”.
