Ghanaian artist, Hammer
Ghanaian musician, Edward Nana Poku Osei popularly known as Da’ Hammer in the music industry has recently revealed the reason that why he is still relevant in the Ghanaian showbiz industry. He said its his ability to stay remarkable in spite of the development of music makers and sound engineers.
As indicated by the record maker, it is imperative to be related to a quality than take after the group as copying a style constrains the innovativeness in a man.
“You tend to have that problem when you follow trends. I’m not in that category at all. I survived Zapp Mallet, Jay Q, Richie, Morris Baby Face. I survived all of them because I didn’t think like them. I thought like me. The problem with the producers now is that they always jump on the next big thing. I live in a different world. When you see Picasso’s paintings, you know. It has a signature, his paintings don’t look like Rembrandt’s. So as an artist, why don’t you show them who you are?”
Moreover, he has supported and produced numerous Ghanaian superstars, like, Obrafour, Kwaw Kese, Sarkodie, Edem and Tinny have been under his tutelage and have exceeded expectations in their individual fields.
