Kwesi Pratt Jnr
It was certainly a cracker of a show when Kwesi Pratt Jnr, Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, met with Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Pyne to talk over the capability of the newly commissioned Sugar factory at Komenda in the Central Region.
Initial off by commending the NDC government for stimulating the factory which was once the achiever of the people of Komenda in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEAA), Sam Pyne look to be unfortunate with remarks apparently passed by Kwesi Pratt on a television programme which he did not name.
According to the Ashanti Regional NPP transcriber, the expert journalist had on the alleged show misreported him, something which he was slightest happy about.
His observations did not go down fit with Kwesi Pratt, who started accusing the criticisms leveled after the commissioning of the plant against the government.
According to Kwesi Pratt, the disagreement that a plantation should have been formed to feed the factory before its introduction is invalid as according to him, there is still sufficient sugarcane to feed the factory.
To him, it was slightly unfortunate such a worthy project was fast being decreased to the common NPP-NDC politics.
But Sam Pyne, who sat 2 microphones away from the Insight Editor on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ on Thursday, June 2nd, 2015 requested him not to remark about people complaining about the deficiency of logistics to increase the operations of the factory as Kwesi Pratt during the supremacy of President Kufour harshly criticized after he commissioned the Ayensu Starch Factory.
