Ghanaian ex comedian and now a reggae artist, David Oscar
Ghanaian former comedian and now a reggae artist, David Oscar has revealed that he is giving his full time to music and music is not something he learned from any institution or a person rather it’s a hidden talent that he finally decided to seek after.
He was exclusively invited on an Entertainment show, as a component of his new release “Rasta Love” promo. Speaking with the host of the show, Kwaku B, David said music is time consuming job thus the need to take it as his full time job.
“Frankly speaking, music is taking much of my time now; talk of the song writing, studio work, promo and other stuff are time consuming so I just don’t want to add anything to it for now. About Acting, It is something I learned at the university (UG), so anytime the offer comes I will take it if I am not busy with music because I want to take music as my full time job”
When asked about why he chose reggae music he replied, “My biggest inspiration is reggae and I do listen to it more than any other genre of music. I do also think experience and influence have molded me as reggae artiste – besides, it is what gives me a good outlet to reach out to the world”.
David Oscar was a comedian in the past, but his fans started criticizing him that he has a pathetic sense of humor and soon after that, David left the comedy and decided to take music as a career. But he revealed that he didn’t leave comedy because of the critics, but for his own reasons.
