Ace Ghanaian music producer, Okraku Mantey
Ghanaian ace music producer, Mark Okraku Mantey has expressed serious concerns regarding Kofi Kinaata’s exclusive performance on his smash hit song “Sususka” at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016 (VGMAs). He brought ladies wearing awkward outfits or half nak3d on the stage to perform with him on his song.
While speaking to the media, Boss of Slip music on Monday said, unfortunately the dance moves and the half nak3d dancers did not at all have a connection with the amazing content of the song.
He proceeded, ‘I don’t know why Kofi Kinaata chose to perform a song which won him ‘Songwriter of the Year’ award at the VGMA 2016, with dancers who are half-nak3d to come and dance mapuka. It invalidates the quality of the song. He won as a result of the inspired content. The content is about how we ought to be satisfied with what God has given us’, he told the host, KMJ.
As indicated by Okraku Mantey, Kofi Kinaata’s performance, painted a photo that “he doesn’t really know what he is selling’.
Kofi Kinaata’s “Susuka” beat rivalry from Rex Omar’s Paapa, Knii, Obrafour’s Nkontompo, Lante’s Beautiful Virgo, MzVee, Richie, Efya’s Abofra and Stonebwoy’s Go Higher.
He was additionally won ‘Best New Artist of the Year’ award.
