Emelia Brobbey, the award winning actress and movie producer has given a clue that she might be soon going back to the classroom in search of her career as a trained teacher which she had neglected fifteen years back.
In a recent interview, the passionate star that had done graduation from the Kibi Teachers College of Education in the Eastern region described her love for teaching and said, “It’s true that I am a qualified teacher and I just love to pass on the knowledge I had acquired.”
Although she has completed a certified course from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), she disclosed that before going back to the classroom as a teacher, she would upgrade her professional teaching skill at the University of Education in Winneba (UEW).
While describing the reason of her leaving teaching career, Emelia said that she was unable to manage her time between movie shoots and teaching as latter is a very demanding and fulltime profession.
“I never wanted to deceive Government by simply behaving as if I am working. That’s why I made a decision to choose acting as my full-time career because I think acting is also a type of teaching.” she further explained.
