The Tamale Chief, Naa Dawuni Alhassan, has officially banned all entertainment shows within the whole city taking after a few bleeding conflicts between patrons of two local artists – Macassion and Fancy Gadam.
The most recent conflict between supporters of the two above mentioned local artists of Tamale, has left four persons badly harmed and a few things damaged.
As indicated by the Tamale Chief, the serious notice was informed by the growing culture of indiscipline among artists in the region.
Naa Dawuni in a statement said, ‘in counsel with the police and military, the royal residence has suspended all entertainment shows, concerts, recordings and musical shows, within the city’.
The two artists who are the basic reason behind the suspension, have been fighting each other over superiority and who have enough fan base within the entertainment industry in the district.

A sub-boss responsible for entertainment in the community Mohammed Hafiz Abdulai Demanaa told the media that the decision is to forestall loss of lives and further harm to properties.
