The closing funeral rites and thanksgiving service of the late Abuakwa MP, J.B Danquah-Adu taken place in Old Tafo in the Abuakwa North community on Saturday, April 16 on Sunday and April 17.
The state on Friday occured a funeral for him at the courtyard of the State House, a service that opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo has much-admired the Mahama government of giving the late MP a suitable burial.
According to the reports, some top government officials, legislators and paramount Chiefs were in presence where NPP´s flagbearer grabs with NDC´s Johnson Aseidu Nketiah.
The family members of the late Chairman of the NPP were at the seat of government, Flagstaff House, to report to the president of scheduled activities of his burial.
According to the reports, late MP was also a former chairman of the NPP.
He died in London after a short sickness.
