The Ghana Education Service has comfortable dress codes in colleges of education across the nation.
A new education rule, Act Act 847, according to deputy education minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa agree to students of colleges of education to wear dresses that make them relaxed.
As part of the Ghana Education Service principles governing colleges of Education, all students are compulsory to wear prescribed uniforms approved by the school establishments.
The dress code rule has been a problem of great discomfort to trainee students for several years.
In a twitter statement, the ex- deputy Information minister wrote “Uniforms no longer compulsory in our Colleges of Education. Other non-tertiary follows to stop in line with Act 847”.
