
Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng aka Bob Okala
Bob Okala, privately known as Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, the maestro entertainer has made everyone laugh through his acting skills. His final burial ceremony will be held from May 6th -7th 2016 at the Arts Centre in Accra.
Later, on Saturday May 7th, his body will be buried at the Osu Cemetery which is located in Accra.
This information was revealed on Friday April 1st, after one week’s tribute to the Key Soap Concert party icon.
Bishop Bob Okala passed out during a performance at an event at Jackson Park at Koforidua in the Eastern region on March 12th 2015. He was then taken to Koforidua Government Hospital but he could not survive.
But his family has requested the government to pay tribute to him with a state funeral, just to honour his involvement and services to Ghana’s enentertainment industry.
Okala became a famous comedian in late ’90s with weekly Key Soap Concert Party show, where most of the times he came on stage with a wall clock fastened to his left wrist.
David Dontoh, Ebenezer Donkor (Katawere), Ice Kenkey, among other significant names of the local entertainment industry attended the ceremony.
