Ghanaian hiplife rapper, Kwaw Kese has revealed that he is dedicating his most recent and 6th music album, “Forever” to his diligent late manager, Fennec Okyere.
In an interview on Media Channel, Wednesday, musician said that he just decided to give a name ‘Forever’ to his album for the reason he believes the legacy of his manager, Fennec, who was not only his manager but a good friend too for a long time, will stay with him forever.
He told host, KMJ about the album, that “The album ‘Forever’ has many songs which we did from the year 2012 to till date. We selected twenty songs for the fans from the lot. This music album is the greatest album to be released out of Ghana for quite a while. It’s memorable. I picked ‘Forever’ due to the fact that I feel we have been in the amusement for quite a while and that implies we are not stopping. Likewise, the album is dedicated to Fennec Okyere, my late manager, which means legacy of him will remain everlastingly.”
It would be reviewed that hiplife artist indicated in an interview with Graphic Showbiz that he was all the while thinking about the misfortune and was having a difficulty in taking a decision to replace by late manager, because he was with for quite a long time.
Moreover, he had said, “I want to avail this opportunity for giving a stress on that, I just can’t replace Fennec Okyere. He is irreplaceable, and also I don’t have any plan to get a permanent manager, I’m already grieving about my friend and brother. Anyway whenever I make my mind to select a manager, I will surely tell my fans, but at present I am not looking for a manager.
On 13th March, 2014, Fennec Okyere was found dead at his residence, Manet Gardens. Reports recommend that he was cut by some obscure assailant(s). It’s been 2 years but still musician couldn’t forget him.
The album ‘Forever’ signing comes off hopefully on 12th March, 2012 at 11am PROMPT, at Silverbird Cinema Foyer, Weija.
