Andrew Awuni who’s the former spokesperson for former President John Agyekum Kufour, says it will be “a big struggle” for the NPP to win power in the upcoming November polls.
While talking to the media Awuni has described that, “It’s not that the people don’t want change, but they are not sure of an NPP government vis a vis its current state.’
Since the suspension of Paul Afoko several elements within the party have expressed deep concerns on the development, somewhat confirming the supposed divisions in the party.
Commenting on the events in largest opposition NPP, Awuni contends unless a miracle happens, many of the things the NPP is doing now will reduce its vote drastically come the general elections.
He explained that the people has wanted to true patriotic leadership in the Ghana, but unfortunately Ghana could not get as a type of the leadership in their country.
However, Nana Addo has also made the politics as an NDC, so people would want to new method of the politics in their country, which will be able to make a Ghana as progressive country in the world.
Moreover, Awuni insisted that, “Nana Addo has made things rather difficult for himself and the party to win an election. I’m sure he[Akufo-Addo] regrets it.”
