Dr Mensa Otabil
Ghanaian people must fight to save the fortune of their country from inability and from the state, Dr Mensa Otabil has advised.
Addressing at the presentation of a book titled ‘Dare to Dream’ on Albert and Comfort Ocran’s Foundation roadshow, the General Overseer and the motivational speaker of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) called for a residents’ “revolution” to steal the country from the state, which he told, has “hijacked” and “controlled” everything.
I hope that as we enjoy this story, and I like how it was put before that it’s an insurgency and it’s certainly a revolution. We have to fight, we have to battle, we have to take the destiny of our state from inability people, who have definite to run us to the ground.
Dr Otabil said, we have to gain the nation back and governor it as citizens of this state and that is the challenge I want to place to you. You have to challenge to dream to take our state back.
He, still, pointed out that he was not requesting for a revolution in the “political way”.
Dr Otabil said, I’m not saying that take it back from one party to give it to another one; I’m saying the people must take their country back and route their own country, and if foundation succeeds in doing that I consider it would have done a very good service to our country and if you and I succeed in doing that we would have done a great service to our country, so, I confidence that tonight as we presentation this magazine, we will not leave here with a sense of achievement, but we’ll be fired up to…go out there and make a change and the change is not just for you to succeed, but for you to take back your country.
