The Central Regional Secretary of NPP Kwamena Duncan says President Mahama must sit and resolve the current energy crises confronting Ghanaians.
Speaking in a FM show, Kwamena Duncan wondered whether President Mahama cares about the Ghanaians.
For him, the energy issues keep increasing and he asked about the efforts by President Mahama and his government to solve the issues.
Regardless of the introduction of the emergency power barges to supplement electricity supply, the New Patriotic Party Regional Secretary believes the NDC government only glorifies itself in glossy displays at the expense of the voters who voted them into power.
Commenting on the power barges that arrived on the shores of Ghana last Saturday, he (Kwamena) condemned the welcome ceremony which was held by the government to usher in the Turkish power barge.
According to him, the ‘jamboree’ is not needed because energy crises remains unresolved.
“It is fanfare, fanfare, fanfare, fanfare; no substance and people are suffering. People still continue to suffer. President Mahama, when you sit (when you sleep); do you reflect on the hardship that you’ve imposed on the good people of this country? Do you do that?”
He criticized President Mahama for failing to fulfil his promises to citizenry by fixing the energy crises.
