App store of Apple
Apple Inc stated on October 8 that it had removed a number of applications from its App Store, stating its concern that the security of personal data of some users could be compromised in certain conditions. Among the apps removed was Been Choice.
The company stated that the apps threatened the security of users by installing certificates that can uncover data to monitoring by third parties. The company did not state the exact number of apps at concern.
An Apple spokeswoman said in a statement that Apple is deeply devoted to protecting customer privacy and security. She added hat they are working closely with these developers to get their apps back quickly on the App Store, whereas guaranteeing that customer security and privacy is not at danger.
