Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong,
Zoomlion Ghana Limited, largest private waste management company in Ghana with operations in other African countries, has been cleared to participate in future Word Bank projects.
This follows the company’s completion of the World Bank’s Corporate Compliance Program.
A communique released to Zoomlion, the World Bank Groups Integrity Compliance Office at the Washington, DC, started ‘…. I wish to officially inform you of the ICO’s determination that Zoomlion Ghana Limited and its sanctioned affiliates have satisfied the conditions of its release from the sanction of debarment.
The importation of this release is that Zoomlion and its associates have as of September 23, 2015 become qualified to contribute in World Bank funded and administered projects.
Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, the Executive Chairman and Founder of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, said the Corporate Compliance Program has brought about an effective system of corporate code of ethics and procedures and integrity policies which now remain a trademark of all our operations across Africa and the International community.
Dr Agyepong stressed that, as a prosperous company as ours is normal to face challenges of all kinds, but it is the measures you put in place that regulates whether or not we will survive.
