
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa
A parliamentary candidate of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region, Christopher Kofi Eleblu, has indicted Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the present Member of Parliament (MP) for the region, of supposedly scheming to libel him.
Kofi Eleblu stated, this was part of a huge plan by the Deputy Minister of Education to stop him from contending in the imminent polls.
The EX-Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Health (MoH), Mr. Eleblu, gave this statement while responding to a news published by state-owned news paper on August 28, 2015, which indicted him and two executives of deceiving the state between 2008 and 2009 to the tune of GH¢647,000 whilst working at MoH throughout the time.
He claimed that the said news published by the famous newspaper was planned by Okudzeto Ablakwa only to dull his image and make him disliked among his followers, following the polls in the constituency.
He further claimed that the deputy minister had schemed to cause his apprehend and arrest before the NDC’s November 7, 2015 polls.
