The National Hilal Committee (NHC) of Ghana and Missionary in charge, Ameer and national chief imam of Ahmadiyya Muslim community has announced that the Eid-ul-fitr in Ghana 2015 will be celebrate on Saturday, 18 of July.

After the holy month of Ramazan the Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-fitr. It is an Islamic festival. In Every year Muslims celebrate this festival and enjoy cooking and eating sweet dishes on the day.
The chairman of The National Hilal Committee (NHC), Sheik Mahmoud Gedel says a happy eid-ul-fitr to all the Muslims of the nation in a statement.
Ramzan is the third pillar of Islam at the end of this month Muslims sight the moon and if the moon is sighted then there would be Eid on next day as well as the start of next Islamic month.
If the moon is not sighted on 29 of Ramzan than on next day the Muslims will continue fasting but if they sighted the moon on 29 of Ramzan than there will be no fasting.
In Ghana Muslims will celebrate Eid-ul-fitr on Saturday July 18 as the Muslim committee didn’t find the moon last night.
However Ministry of Interior has announced that there would be public holiday on Monday July 20 because of Eid-ul-fitr celebrations.
