Winneba (UEW), the University of Education has rejected adjusting their tuition fee for the academic year.
After this announcement students got angered and they expressed their anger over the supposed tuition fees increment.
The angry students who are mainly pursuing their business administration in the Winneba University say that the increment may force them to defer their programs.
However, in an interview given to the Citi News, Andy Agordah, the Public Relations Officer of the University said that the school authorities have not yet decided on fees for the current academic year.
He said that management has not yet officially put out any fee for this year to enable us know whether there has been an increment or not.
He also stated that the students have their own way of fishing out their information that sometimes maybe correct or not.
He explained that the university consults SRC before it review fees.
He said that there is always negotiation on the fees and they come to an agreement as to what is suitable for management and old students.
He added that the university comes out officially and especially with its fees, we cannot tell whether there is any increase or not.
