Ghana Black Satellites have been handed a tough clash in the knock-out phase of the FIFA U20 World Cup, as they will face Mali in the Round of 16 at the tournament in New Zealand on Wednesday.
Black Satellites top the Group B ahead of six times champions Argentina, Austria and Panama.
The 2009 World Champions of U-20 FIFA World Cup will take on fellow West Africans Mali in the knockouts.
Both Mali and Uruguay qualified for the Round of 16 after a 1-1 draw that left them facing the drawing of lots to decide which of the two finishes second in Group D.
Ghana and Mali have faced each other recently in the third and a fourth place match at the African Youth Championship in Senegal last March.
Sellas Tetteh team won the game, and will want the same from his players when they will meet them Wellington on June 10.
Mali finished runners-up in Group D behind Serbia.
Ghana Black Satellites holds Austria for a 1-1 draw in the opening fixture of their World Cup adventure, and beats six times champions Argentina in the second game.
On Friday, Satellites beat Panama 1-0 in their last group B game to top the group at the FIFA U20 World Cup.
Ghana will play Mali on June 10, and the winner will face either Germany or Nigeria in the quarter-final.
