The U20 national team of Ghana, the Black Satellites beat Panama 1-0 to reach the knock-out stage, beating them in the their last group B last Friday in the U-20 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
The Portuguese side Rio Ave star, Emmanuel Boateng scores the only goal in the 82nd minute of play, which later proves to be the winner in the end to finish on top of the group with seven points.
The Black Satellites coach, Sellas Tetteh maintained the same team that beat Argentina 3-2 in their second game of the group stage, but Panama coach Leonardo Pipino coach made five changes to the squad that lose to Austria 2-1.
Benjamin Tetteh got the early chance, through the Samuel Tetteh pass in the fourth minute, but goalkeeper Garcia made a quick save.
Despite getting some good chances, the first half ended in a goalless draw, as the West Africans got another chance in the 37th minute of play.
Black Satellites return from the game with some changes in the half time replacing Kasim and David Atanga with Samuel Tetteh and Clifford Aboagye.

The Ghana Black Satellites will play the best third-placed countries from either group A/ C/ or D at the Wellington Regional Stadium on June 10.
