President Mahama has declared that Ghc 3 billion would be dedicated to health care and facilities, delivery in the country.
The president added, the number of projects being executed in the whole nation will add approximately 6000 new hospital beds between 2017 and 2015.
He also noted that 13 hospitals in the district are being built to bring health care and facilities to the people. Madina, Twifo Praso, naming Salaga, as some of the districts, to benefit from the project.
President Mahama noted that in his third state of the nation address, the Medical Stores Fire in Tema cost the country GHC 353 million.
The 500-bed Military hospital will be named 37 Military Hospital in Kumasi, President Mahama, said.
Moreover, 15 Polyclinics will be started this year with 10 in the Central Region and 5 in the Greater Accra region he also stated.
He said they have made significant progress in the fight against AIDS-HIV. Over 10000 senior citizens are being provided free NHIS subscription, in the great Accra, Eastern and Central regions.
