Nurses are planning a three-week mercy mission to Western Ghana
Two Altnagelvinian colleagues nurses are engage in fund raising and they are also planning for a three-week mercy mission towards Western Ghana.
Leann Allen and Emma-Louise Donnelly is in general medical ward 20 and they are colleagues they have specialized in cardiology and renal nursing.
They are planning to spend their time period helping the medical center in Ghana, Takoradi town, and they will leave Northern Ireland on 28th march to work voluntary as nurses.
The area that they have chosen have lack of resources and facilities and the both females are hope to propel the consignment of medical pro-visionary but the need to pay for the load transit.
Leann and Emma-Louise are going to start their journey under the supervision of Agape Volunteers that is a registered charity providing the humanitarian help and support to India and Africa through voluntary donations and programs.
The purpose o organization is to assure volunteers access to affordable programs where their energy, time and funds are utilized to create real and continuous development in disadvantaged communities, and those who volunteers are valuable for helping to make up for the lack of in-dispensable personnel in areas like Takoradi.
