They said that the fish rate will remain same even after the Christmas season. They said that because they get no profit in it and by reducing the rate of fish they face loss. The fish price was increased during the Christmas it was because people buy fish a lot on these kinds of occasions that is why the rate of fish was increased but the fish traders say that the fish price will not be changed even after Christmas season. Reducing the price of fish is not good for the traders and the economy. Selling products at low price at high demand affects the economy of the country and it also reduces the product which is sold on low prices.
In the season of Christmas the fish rates were as three small red fish were available of ten GHC to thirty GHC and large tilapia was sold for forty GHC in the past days and this fish price will remain constant.
