Worldwide Health Organization (WHO) reported on Wednesday that the Ebola epidemic continues to take lives of the people at global level. The total of Ebola deaths is increased to 7588 out of 19497 confirmed reported cases in one year-old stormy epidemic in West Africa.

According to the report the fatal Ebola virus is still extensively increasing in Sierra Leone, particularly in the West and North along with 315 new reported cases from British colony in a week to December 21. These involved 115 cases only from the capital Freetown.
In addition, the neighboring district of Port Loko also increased new testified cases, reporting 92 confirmed cases, according to the WHO reports.
In Sierra Leone information regarding Ebola provided to the more than 5000 households in last week from 20 to 17th December as a part of a major awareness campaign.
WHO also revealed that the Guinea also presented rise in Ebola reported cases, as it reported 256 confirmed cases during the same period of time. It is the highest case occurrence rate reported by the state in this epidemic.
This is mainly due to the flow in reported cases from the South-eastern districts of Kissidougou, from reported cases are 58 which are the one third of the total cases reported from all over the country in the last week.
The important thing to be noted is that the district has previously reported no more than 5 cases in a week, but the addition of affected people showing that it is still needed the ongoing watchfulness even in the areas where the virus was not previously prevalent.
In Liberia, the situation was becoming bit better and numbers of cases were decreases for the past month as 21 new cases were also reported in the week just before December 21.
While, the Nimba County reported just 3 confirmed cases in 9 weeks, the Montserrado County and Monrovia along the Côte d’lvorie border to the east still have the uppermost rates of the disease countrywide, WHO stated.
Furthermore, five more countries including Nigeria, Mali, Senegal, Spain and United states have faced some important cases of virus are included in affected globe.
According to the Peter Piot, a scientist helped to discover the virus in 1976, stated that the Ebola virus seems to be last until the end of 2015 from where it began spreading in first victim in Guinea a year ago.
In order to control Ebola crises the next step will be the “Detective Work against Ebola”.
The WHO director-general Margaret Chan said in Accra on Wednesday that “the United states will deploy hundreds of its health personnel to detect chains of infection as the virus transmits from person to person“.
