Only 13% Ghanaians Own Homes, Rental Homes Trending-Lamudi Ghana
Rental homes are quite popular in Ghana as only 13% Ghanaian have their own homes, revealed in a report presented by the giant of the real estate industry, Lamudi Ghana.
This report has published with the title of “Real Estate in the Emerging Markets 2014 – Ghana” exposed there are many red-tape procedures that become hurdles in the exercise of receiving loans, on the other hand rental homes are much easier and more manageable for living arrangements.
The content writer of, Lamudi Ghana said as a developing nation, Ghana poses numerous avenues for the real estate industry because of some reasons.
Firstly, the prices of property are high and to meet the requirements for a loan is particularly hard for the common man, he pointed.
He also stated the market is friendly to those who are looking for the shorter periods rent so this trend will continue in future.
This report also disclosed the next era will be the era of real estate because many young Ghanaian are now entering in the age where the property will become important.
This report further elaborated that the youngsters that are studying in the colleges and universities looking to move in the big cities for jobs, the rental homes are the best options for them. This increase in demand of rental homes offers a great opportunity for the investors of real estate in Ghana.
The Lamudi’s onsite data also endorses that the mostly house seekers in Ghana are having the age of 25 to 35, which indicates the youngsters’ trend towards the real estate market.
The data of this report is unbalanced when examine on the basis of gender, as shown, 66% house seekers being male and 34% of being female.
