The Ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Zongo Caucus holds its Greater Accra Regional Congress to elect its executives on Tuesday December 2.

Alhaji Yussif Captain, National Co-ordinator and Alhaji Alhassan Bene, National Secretary of the Caucus in Accra signed the statement and copied it to Ghana News Agency in Accra on Monday, added that the other regional elections would be held soon.
Before it was officially announced that the caucus is set to elect its executives against the up-coming NDC National Delegate Congress, which would be held in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on December 20.
The reason for being so late is to give chance to new candidate executives and members who are interested in contesting for the regional executive positions to submit their nominations.
Another statement is in the circulation where the party heads has requested to the members and other NDC sympathizers to remain calm and united as the party is going into its National Executives Campaign.
