The Members of Parliament (MPs), who brought a bag of rice into the parliament to awaken the parliament about the recent cocaine scandal, said the parliament is now combined to resolve the drug threat which overwhelmed the Ghana.
Dominic Nitiwul also stated that the parliament is now raised to eliminate the drug problem from the country.
MP from the consistency of Bimbilla faced a lot of disagreement in the parliament for showing a rice bag on to the floor which he carried to shown to the parliament how the detained drug suspect carried a Cocaine via Ghana’s Airport without any hurdle.
The suspected drug smuggler Nayele Ametefeh was arrested in attempt to smuggle the cocaine from Ghana to United Kingdom on November 10.
The arrest of the Nayele was dramatically arrested in UK and the reports also highlighted the conspiracy that she had some support from airport officials of Ghana and foreign affairs to clear the Ghanaian airport with cocaine.
She has been pleaded guilty in the court of United Kingdom, but her two companions who were imprisoned later in Ghana pleaded that they are not guilty.
While discussing this with media Dominic Nitiwul denounced the attempts to politicize this serious issue.
He stated political figures have complete right to ask any reasonable question regarding how the lady broken the Ghana’s security but it is not appropriate to label any party as Cocaine party.
He further revealed if anyone try to politicize the issue of cocaine now then the group of officials will defense the undertakings of government in this issue.
