Ghana Join the Global Entrepreneurship Week
Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, stated that Ghana’s economic development and job opportunities in future will be subject to the success of the entrepreneurs.
He also added that the economy of Ghana depends heavily on the private sector and this dependence is going to increase day by day, so there is a dire need to boost and support entrepreneurship and to encourage young entrepreneurs who have the knowledge and business culture to take advantage of the wealth of opportunities in future.
Dr. Spio-Garbrah, who give these views at the launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) of 2014 in Accra stated, “As government make stronger its efforts to build up Ghana’s entrepreneurship environment through numerous intervention programs, it is significant and critical now than ever before that we seriously strengthen our efforts in encouraging entrepreneurial culture in our public, most essentially in the youth.
Moreover, he pointed that this could be accomplished through brave initiatives such as Global Entrepreneurship Week.
