Ghanaian’s trust in government is declining day by day and a recent survey released by Afrobarometer revealed a piece of proof of this fact. According to a latest roundup by Afrobarometer disclosed that 75 percent of Ghanaian has referred Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) the worst public service agency.
As per the findings, majority of citizens have expressed dissatisfaction over government service providers and agencies such as electricity, healthcare, education, water and sanitation, road maintenance.
Ghana is facing massive electricity shortfall since the last two years due to fail management to generate and distribute power across the nation which forced many industries to shut down their businesses, whereas ECG escapes by saying it only distribute the power it receives from Volta River Authority.

Private Enterprise Federation and the Association of Ghana Industries have expressed grief over the shutdown of companies due to mismanagement of government.
Government has repeatedly promised that current load-shedding will be a story of past in soon, insisting it is trying hard to tackle crisis.
Ghanaian ranked “very bad” or “fairly bad” most of government agencies in delivering electricity (75%) maintaining roads (68%), providing water and sanitation services (66%).
