Battered flagbearer positive about Alan Kyerematen the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says he still remains appropriate in the party in spite of the margin of defeat.
On Saturday, October 18th 2014 according to him, his routine in the just-ended presidential primaries will not affect his power in the party.
Alan Kyerematen in his 3rd effort to lead the NPP bring in just 5,908 of the total votes, little his arch-rival now Nana Akufo-Addo flagbearer, polled 117,413 having a record 94.35 percent.
In 2007 his votes have also brought down from 32.30 percent to 4.75 percent at the just ended flagbearership contest.
This attitude of some political pundits say will unfavorably affect his political profession and to a large level his support base in the NPP.
But on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen program a hopeful Kyerematen Tuesday harangued that his downfall will not have any impact on his future political profession.
Somewhat he said the most important thing is how he adds to the party’s victory in the 2016 general elections.
The former Trade Minister who promotes himself as a setting up member of the NPP showed that he will continue to remain faithful to the party, regardless of the role he plays in the round up to the 2016 elections.
“I rely on in the standards and idea in the NPP party so regardless of the role I play I still remain pertinent,” he added.
