Apple sustains its position as the world’s top valued brand.
Interbrand, brand consultancy giant and specialized in the areas of brand strategy, brand valuation and brand analysis, recently reported Best Global Brands list where Cupertino giant captured the top position for the second time in a row. The worth of Apple is calculated at USD $118.9 billion, raised 21 percent year-over-year.
Apple Most Valuable Brand
Apple was first appeared on the Interbrand list in 2000 at 49th place, when the company first reported Best Global Brands list. The tech titan is strongly backed by its smartphone flagship and with its debutant device iWatch and latest released iPhone 6, Apple could enjoy to stay at top spot.
Followed by Apple, Google holds second spot with a brand price of $107 billion. Amazingly, out of 100 noted companies 13 belongs to the tech sector, of which 5 are in top 10.
Beside Apple and Google, IBM, Microsoft and Samsung are also feature in leading 10.
Apple and Google are followed by beverage renowned brand, Coca-Cola, which ruled top spot for 13 consecutive years and finally replaced by beloved tech brand.
Interbrand told it measures three key aspects to assign the position of a particular brand, (1) the fiscal condition of company’s products or services, (2) its influencing ability on consumer choice and (3) the ability the brand has to command a premium price or lock down earnings for the company.
