The memories of a mega concert back in 2007 with his presence at the Independence Square in Accra was still refreshed in the minds of people as the Jamaican roots reggae superstar, Luciano will return to Ghana for another concert in Accra on October 12 at La Beach.
He is best known for tracks like “God Is My Friend”, “It’s Me Again Jah”, “Oh Father I Love Thee”, “Jah Is My Navigator” and “United States of Africa”; which make him popular and respected for both his religious and social music.
Black Santino said, “We know about his popularity among the music fans for his meaningful lyrics and gripping melodies and with the help of Yard N Foryn Crew Company and Black Ceasar, we will make all possibilities for his presence in Ghana.”
Even when he came to Ghana for the first time, his songs were loved by the music fans. And he has shown excitement for his return to Ghana.
Being one of the rising stars of mid-1990s, Luciano is not very much happy with some of the reggae artists, believing that they have lost their focus.
He has also been criticized for the reading of Biblical verses prior to performances, but no matter, anyone says, the 50-year-old star has shown the world that what he is capable of doing.
Other than Luciano, the Ghanaian music stars that will appear on the show, which include Knii Lante, MzVee, Edem, Stonebwoy, and Culture Levi.
The officials of Black Ceasar Promotion have also hinted that there are possibilities that Luciano will be doing his second show in Kumasi or Accra after the La Beach affair.
