President John Mahama is set to attend this year’s Africa Global Business Forum (AGBF) and Mahama will be among dignitaries to address at the forum.
This year’s AGBF is schedule to take place in Dubai on 1st and 2nd October, 2014. The two days forum, which is second following 2013, will gather prominent businessmen and stakeholder from African Union and economic blocs to share, implement and advise on key strategic directives regarding to African economy.
The forum, under the theme, “New realities, new connections”, will also feature international leaders, most prominently Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirate and ruler of Dubai, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as CEOs operating globally, heads of private banks and African Head of States.
AGBF will highlight the Dubai’s role as an international gateway to second populous continent, the objective of the forum is to motivate international revenue to flow into Africa.
The ultimate goal is to find the ways to bridge international corporates and investors to establish businesses in Africa, focusing on the bright future of the continent.
Other presidents to address this year’s forum are, H.E. Paul Kagame of Rwanda Dr. Mulatu Teshome of Federal Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Armando Guebuza of Mozambique and H.E. Macky Sall of Senegal.
Last year, the forum was attended by 31 presidents and prime ministers, African ministers along with 3,000 delegates from 86 countries.
And such a huge gathering is of sure a vivid opportunity of high interaction between Africa and world. The attendants are schedule for one-to-one meeting where new ideas will arise at two days high-level networking platform.
