Joseph Atangana, Cameroon U-17 coach said, we still have a chance to qualify ahead of Black Starlets despite suffering a surprise first leg defeat.
Black Starlets dominate the first leg against the Junior Indomitable Lions, defeating them in a closer contest 2-1 in their qualifying tie for the 2015 Africa U-17 Championships.
Ernest Agyiri and Abass Issah scored in the first half to give their coach Paa Kwesi Fabin some relaxation before the host pulls back one.
The win has put Ghana Black Starlets in a very strong position before the return leg which will take place in Accra.
Cameroon U-17 coach Joseph Atangana still believes that they got a chance to pull back things in their favor regardless of playing the second tie in Ghana.
I told my side, we have 13 days before the second leg; we are working hard and finding out our weaknesses and working on it with the help of our technical department, said Joseph Atangana.
We have a good side, and the boys will put their all efforts for the return leg in Accra.
Nothing is lost, we are lions, and with a little hard work we can still achieve a result that we are looking for, said the Cameroon U-17 coach.
When you compare us with them, no doubt that they are a better side, we have seen them playing and even though they have beaten us, but we can win in their home.
