Christian Atsu possibly move to Everton on loan
Christian Atsu, the talented Ghanaian player is about to move on loan to English side Everton but it has been delayed after his club Chelsea demanded him to be part of the first team.
Everton wants the Chelsea midfielder on loan for one season, but the Blues insist that the Ghanaian international must get a place in the first team.
He spent his last season at Vitesse, now is on the wanted list by Everton but they are not promising him a place in the first eleven which led Chelsea to hold on the move of the Ghanaian.
He was first put into the conversation when the Merseyside club and the Stamford Bridge outfit during negotiations over Romelu Lukaku’s £28 million moves to Goodison Park.
Chelsea is happy that the winger will be working alongside with Roberto Martinez, especially after Lukaku enjoyed a prolific 2013-14 season in front of goal under the former Wigan boss.
The West London club still wants confirmation from the Everton officials that Atsu will play in first eleven if they want him on loan for the next season; this is something that the Everton are unable to guarantee.
Other than Everton, there are numerous clubs who are interested in the Ghanaian player, who spent his last season in the Netherlands with Chelsea’s partnership club Vitesse.
The 22-year-old player was part of Ghana World Cup squad and plays in all the group games.
