SAO PAOLO -: Luiz Felipe Scolari has announced his 23-member squad for FIFA World Cup 2014, which is going to be held in Brazil. Interesting factor about the squad is, Legendary Ronaldinho, Ricardo Kaka’ and Robinho are left out of the squad, according to Felipe Scolari experience don’t play a very important role but form do.
Felipe Scolari chose most of the players who won last year’s Confederation Cup, 16 players of 23 are the ones who were in the team that won last year’s warm-up tournament by beating World No.1 Spain in finals.
The team mostly consists of young players like Neymar, Oscar and Luiz but experience is also there in the face of players like Dani Alves, Thiago Silva and their Goal Keeper Julio Cesar.
In an interview about the squad Scolari said “I don’t think that this lack of experience will make a big impact, our players have been experience in their leagues in Europe and I don’t think they will be affected by this too much, although in certain World Cup situations, having that experience would be important but I fully trust these player.
The squad includes 3 Goal Keepers Julio Cesar, Victor and Jefferson. World class defenders like David Luiz, Dante, Silva, Maicon, Henrique, Dani Alves, Marcelo and Maxwell. Mid-field line-up includes Luiz Gustavo, Paulinho, Fernandinho, Ramires, Oscar, Willian and Hernanes. They also have a very strong Attacking line-up which includes Hulk, Bernard, Neymar, Jo and Fred.
Ronaldinho was also side-lined in the last World Cup which have cost Brazil a lot.
