
John Mahama, the President of Ghana have made sure that GH¢10 million will be available for the Ghanaian youth who will be able to start small and medium scale enterprises, said by the presidential staffer.
The charge of Youth Enterprise Development at the presidency, Kojo Adu Asare said, we are looking for more sources for funding to make sure that the youth will be able to start their own businesses.
In an interview with the TV3, Mr. Adu Asare mentioned about the launch of Ghana SME 100 Ranking in Accra.
The rankings focus on Ghana’s Top 100 SMEs that can have an impact on local businesses. The main aim is to motivate small scale business and help in marketing Ghana’s SMEs to global investors.
After knowing the plans of President Mahama’s, the former Member of Parliament for Adenta Constituency said, the presidents offer will be utilized cautiously.
He added, we are also looking forward to access some other plans along with the President Mahama offer.
This offer is also comeing along with President Mahama’s call on March 6 for all Ghanaians to support “Made in Ghana” products.
