Paul Afoko, the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has denied any interest in the promotion related to Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng’s presidential bid.
He was very active during Alan Kyeremanteng’s 2007 presidential contest.
He won in Tamale and his victory was considered a win for Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng who later shows an intention to contest the NPP’s flagbearership race.
In an interview with the Citi News, Paul Afoko makes sure that he will stay neutral in the NPP’s flagbearership race.
I have already mentioned it several times and on many platforms, especially when was delivering the acceptance speech on behalf of the newly elected executives.
He added, the delegates have mentioned clearly that we have to be one unit if we really want to succeed and for a moment I don’t belong to any camp.
Mr. Afoko reveals that there are rumours that we will secretly promote Alan Kyeremanteng’s presidential bid to make sure that there will be unity within the party for the purpose of winning the 2016 general elections.
He works hard for the party unity to make sure that the NPP will get a good response in the Northern Ghana.
