Kwesi Appiah, the Ghanaian Coach in its latest statement said that, we are going to kill Egyptians in Cairo in the 2nd leg playoff despite they are a better side than us at home.
The Ghana Black Stars have to avoid a 5-0 defeat in Cairo to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2014. They are already 6-1 ahead of Egypt when they thrashed them last month in Ghana in the first leg of the World Cup.
Beating Egypt on November 19 will make them the final African team to reach the next year’s event in Brazil. The other teams that have qualified for the mega event from Africa are Nigeria, Cameroon and Ivory Coast. The two matches will be played on November 19 to decide the final two participants for the next year World Cup.
In view of some people, it’s seem to be an easier task, with many predicting an attacking game from the Egyptians and a little defensive game plan from the Ghana Black Stars on Tuesday.
But a statement came from the Coach Kwesi Appiah that we are not going to play any defensive game; we are going to attack and win the game for our fans.
He added, I told before we have played our first part in Ghana, now remains the last one to conquer, and we are hopeful we will make it.
I have told my players that when we will face Egypt on Tuesday, we will keep in mind that we are a goal down so that our players will work hard to win the final battle.
