It is good news for the Ghana Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah’s when making future plan for the team especially after Kevin Prince Boateng has declared publicly about his commitment to the national team in future.
Kevin Prince Boateng is currently making his complete effort with the squad in training in Istanbul preparing for Tuesday’s World Cup playoff as he will make his first presence against the Egyptians.
His presence in the squad will increase the morale of Ghana Black Stars players.
Although, the striker missed two important games against Zambia and Egypt since he came back to the side in September, Kevin Prince Boateng has been seriously criticised by the fans that he has intentionally stayed away from those matches.
But in response to that, Kevin Prince Boateng told Allsports.com.gh, “It is surely not the case.”
He added, I always feel happy whenever I have been called for the national duty, because that is my first priority.
Of course this is not good but what I can do, I can’t play for Ghana when I am not 100 per cent fit. Because playing with an injury can cause problem to the national side and I don’t want that.
Kevin Prince Boateng is hopeful to be in first eleven against the Egyptians.
In the last game they play, they are so strong that even without me they thrash Egypt 6-1 and keeping in mind about our last performance I think we will make it to the next year World Cup.
Egypt is strong and there is no doubt in it, but after thrashing them 6-1 we feel we are a better side than them and that is the reason we are in a strong position to qualify for the World Cup.
