Michael Essien will soon join the Ghana Black Stars for the final World Cup playoff against the Egyptians in Cairo on Tuesday 19th November, 2013.
Ghana Black Stars are currently preparing for the game against Egypt in Turkey where Michael Essien will soon join them.
The Chelsea Midfielder will arrive late night on Tuesday due to the burial ceremony of his father last weekend in Ghana.
He is on special leave which he took from the Coach Kwesi Appiah due to the burial ceremony of his Father.
The Coach Kwesi Appiah is satisfied with the preparation of Ghana Black Stars after Midfielder Michael Essien and Defender Awal Mohammed will join the squad on Wednesday.
Ghana Black Stars have a lead of five goals over Egypt from the first leg played last month in Kumasi on 15 October.
Despite security concerns in Egypt, Michael Essien is well prepared for the game against the Egyptians especially after their 6-1 thrashing of Egypt in the first leg.
We are well prepared, and not afraid of the Egypt Team, said Michael Essien.
The only fear we have is playing in the North African country due to the current condition with all that is happening over there, but as we have been confirmed by the FIFA about the safety of our players, officials and fans, we will play there.
Ghana Black Stars will once again face the Egypt in Cairo on 19 November with the aggregate winner will qualify for the world biggest football event, FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
