The sports minister of Ghana, Afriyie Ankrah has personally thanked to FIFA for the meeting before the final game in Cairo.
It is the responsibility of FIFA to make sure that any venue for any game in the world will be safe before the teams are allowed to play.
The news has gotten the media attention after Ghana FA is asking about some extra security especially after the clashes between the thousands of Al Ahly fans and the Egyptian Police before and after the Sunday when a Champions League (CAF) 2nd leg game been played in Cairo.
This was the first time fans are allowed to watch the Champions League game after that incident when 74 people were killed during an Egyptian league game last year.
FIFA has already ignored two requested from the Ghana FA about a change in the venue.
Ghana just needs to avoid a 5-0 defeat in Cairo against the Egyptians to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2014.
