Joseph Yammin – Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports says that why can’t be our local Ghanaian players cannot raise their standard of game to that of Lionel Messi.
What else they need, some commitment, seriousness, a little bit more effort in training, simply I want to say it is possible for a local Ghanaian player to become like Lionel Messi.
The minister gives some advice to the Ghana Black Stars players that they would be serious with their training all the times, and nothing will be impossible at the end.
Joseph Yammin was speaking to the officials and the technical team of Ashanti Gold FC at the Len Clay Stadium.
The minister was in Obuasi on Thursday where he took full advantage by visiting the Ashanti Gold practice grounds.
Later he added, I will be visiting some other premier league clubs, to know the type of facilities they are having and to motivate the young boys that will be the future of Ghana.
It’s really not something difficult that our players cannot achieve to reach the status of Lionel Messi.
What are the reasons behind these great footballers who becomes the stars, nothing much just a little bit effort, some seriousness in the training and they work hard.
Hon. Yammin advice to the players of Ashanti Gold Club that just follow the rules and regulation and obey the coach instruction, you shall be succeeded and make Ghana proud.
Other than the training with the club players, you need to be practicing on your own in order to become a world star, and you can achieve it, it is not something that is impossible.
