Founder Member of NDC, Mr Kofi Mintah, suggested the importance of complaint unit for the party, to allow members to get compensation for their complaints.
Mr Mintah said this step would avoid members from washing their dirty linen openly.
He was responding to the backlash of the public in contradiction of prominent personalities in the party administration officers who resorted to the media to express their disdain against some progresses in the NDC.
Talking with Ghana News Agency in a discussion in Wunneba on Tuesday, he said the NDC should arrange meetings to enable members who do not have approach to party heads to discuss their problems.
He also appealed Ghanaians to support President John Daramani Mahama and give him time to fix issues and also fight corruption. He further said that Ghanaians should not sacrifice the image of nation for political benefits.
Mr Mintah elaborate that government is facing a critical time so members and supporters of the party should not leave the party between the streams, the President need the support of everyone particularly the founding members. He added,“Fighting corruption should be grasped as a shared duty but not for the President alone.”
Mr Mintah, “We are part of the issue and must all help to correct it but not to move the responsibility on the President.”
