Kwesi Appiah, Ghana black Stars coach has called Edwin Gyimah, SuperSport United midfielder in their upcoming game against the Egyptians in the 2014 World Cup playoff.
SuperSport United has confirmed that they have received the request from MTN Football for the player.
Edwin Gyimah also plays as a centre back, is replacing the injured John Boye.
The 22 year old, Edwin Gyimah has been part of the Ghana Black Stars squad who won the 2011 All Africa Games Gold under the supervision of Kwesi Appiah.
He has been invited by the Ghana FA for the matches against Sudan and Lesotho but could not join the squad due to some reasons.
In 2012/2013, voted has the best club player in 16 Premier Soccer League games.
The Rennes defender, John Boye ruled out of the squad due to injury.
