Razak Pimpong has already retired from football next unsuccessful struggles to save his profession.
The 30-year-old calls it even after playing 10 times for the Black Stars and playing for six different clubs in 13-year profession in a foreign country.
Pimpong, throughout this time played for Midtjylland, FC Copenhagen, Viking, Aalesund, El Masry and Viborg.
Razak was a part of the Ghana U20 team that earned silver at the World Youth Championships in Argentina with Razak’s colleagues being Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, John Paintsil, Derek Boateng and others.
The former Great Olympian however unsuccessful to hit the headings in Europe as Razak’s other colleagues did after appreciating comparative achievement at youth level.
Razak yet managed to conquer the Danish Super Liga in 2006 with Copenhagen which received Razak a spot in Ghana’s inauguration arrival at the World Cup in 2006.
The former national star Razak now hopes to remain relevant by setting up a business in Ghana.
‘In Africa when you retire from football people easily forget about you so you have to do something essential,’ Razak told Goal Ghana in a recent interview during Michael Essien’s Charity game in Accra.
‘Having some projects in mind to do after you’re playing career is the best.’
