Motorola and Verizon introduced their next generation new droid phones this Tuesday, Including Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and the Droid Mini.
The 0.28 inch thick with 5-inch display the New Droid Ultra is the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone in the market. According to Verizon team The Droid Maxx is same as Droid Ultra but with longer battery time. If we talk about the Droid Mini, it is similar in specs but with smaller display of 4.3 inches. All of them have the same display resolution of 1280 x 720.
Motorola added some new and interesting features to its new smartphone as they introduced a whole new way of sharing pictures called Droid Zap. In this New Droid app you will be able to upload a photo to a Temporary Cloud which will be tied to your location. After uploading the picture it will be available to any Droid phone for two minutes to access that picture.
The New Droid Gallery app also has more good features with immediate access from Camera by right swap, Deleting the pictures has also become easy with Swipe Up.
In the New Droid there is a new notification center Called Active Notifications that saves battery life. The New Droid app will flash a notification on some specific part of the screen. If you would like to check that, you will just press it and hold the screen center. You can also dismiss it without unlocking your New Droid phone.
The three New Droid phones have a new System on Chip (SoC) called the X8 Motorola designed by Motorola.
Motorola claims 24% faster processors than last year’s model. Motorola also claims 100% better graphics performance.
The New Droid Phones will be available on pre-order and they will be available in the market on 20 August.
With two-year contract with Verizon, the New Droid Mini costs only $99 for 16GB, The Droid Ultra is $199 for 16GB and The Droid Maxx is $299 for 32GB.
